Hani Shukrallah

Hani Shukrallah (Arabic: هاني شكر الله‎; 1950 – 5 May 2019) was an Egyptian journalist and political analyst. He was editor-in-chief of Al-Ahram Weekly between 1991 and 2005. He was later founder and editor-in-chief of Ahram Online. He also worked as a co-editor of Al-Shorouk. He wrote articles for Al-Hayat, The Guardian, Indian magazine Outlook and the Journal of Palestine Studies. He was born in Cairo.

Shukrallah died on 5 May 2019, at the age of 69.[1]
