Dhuys-et-Morin-en-Brie is a commune in the Aisne department of northern France. The municipality was established on 1 January 2016 and consists of the former communes of Artonges, La Celle-sous-Montmirail, Fontenelle-en-Brie and Marchais-en-Brie.[1]

The town hall is in Marchais-en-Brie.

The commune of Dhuys-et-Morin-en-Brie gets is name from:

  • Dhuys (or Dhuis), a small river, 21.4 km (13.3 mi), that flows through the commune.
  • Petit Morin, 86.3 km (53.6 mi), a left tributary of the Marne river that also flows through the commune.
  • Brie, the natural region where is the commune, a small plateau.

Dhuys-et-Morin-en-Brie is in the southern part of the Aisne department at 76.8 km (47.7 mi) to the south of Laon,[2] the prefecture of the department, and at 18.9 km (11.7 mi) to the southeast of Château-Thierry,[3] the subprefecture of the arrondissement.

It has an area of 40.04 km2 (15.46 sq mi) with an altitude of 107–222 m (351–728 ft).
