A daytime running light is an automotive lighting and bicycle lighting device on the front of a road motor vehicle or bicycle,[1] They come on when the vehicles handbrake has been pulled down or when the vehicle is put in-gear, They show a white, yellow, or amber light. They help other road users identify an active vehicle.[2]
