Crown Royal is a Canadian whisky. It is owned by Diageo after it was purchased when the Seagram portfolio was dissolved in 2000. Crown Royal is 40% alcohol by volume, 80 proof.[1] It is the top-selling Canadian whisky in the United States.[2]
