Corticobasal degeneration (CBD) is a rare neurodegenerative disease that affects the cerebral cortex and the basal ganglia.[1]

CBD symptoms start in people from 50 to 70 years of age. Some of the symptoms are similar to that of Parkinson's disease, progressive supranuclear palsy, and dementia with Lewy bodies.
