Gurmels (French: Cormondes) is a municipality of the district See in the canton of Fribourg in Switzerland.
History
[change | change source]In 1978, Monterschu and Grossgurmels merged to form Gurmels. The municipality of Kleingurmels merged into Gurmels in 2000. In 2003, the former municipalities of Guschelmuth, Liebistorf and Wallenbuch were merged to form Gurmels. Then, in 2005, the former municipality of Cordast joined.
