Line of succession to the Japanese throne

change

As you know, you changed the family tree at Line of succession to the Japanese throne.

  1. You removed the yellow. Please compare with Japanese Imperial family tree. In that context, the yellow highlights the Imperial line. Would it be helpful to restore the yellow highlights to Emperor Taishō, Emperor Shōwa and Akihito? Perhaps the yellow highlights are not helpful for Crown Prince Naruhito, Prince Akishino, Prince Hisahito of Akishino, Prince Hitachi, Prince Mikasa and Prince Katsura?
  2. You added princesses. I wonder if you know that the Japanese Constitution does not include females in the line of succession? Please explain your thinking.

Perhaps you will want to restore some of the changes you have made? --Horeki (talk) 15:19, 16 June 2012 (UTC)Reply

Imperial House of Japan

change

I have questions about your most recent changes to Imperial House of Japan. There is nothing "wrong" with cut-and-paste from en:Imperial House of Japan

  • diff 18:42, 20 June 2012‎ Keivan.f . . (9,519 bytes) ( 100)‎ . . (→‎Living former members)
  • diff 18:20, 20 June 2012‎ Keivan.f . . (9,419 bytes) (-56)‎ . . (→‎List of current members)
  • diff 18:13, 20 June 2012‎ Keivan.f . . (9,475 bytes) ( 3,807)‎ . . (→‎List of current members: . I added the names of the members with some explanation.)

I wonder if it is too much -- not "wrong", but not simple. Do you see my point? This is an issue of judgment, and your opinion is as good as mine. In other words, my opinion is not better than yours. --Horeki (talk) 18:58, 20 June 2012 (UTC)Reply

Yes, You are right. They aren't simple. Keivan.f (talk) 18:59, 20 June 2012 (UTC)Reply

Template:Japanese Imperial Family

change
This thread was moved from User talk:Horeki#Line of succession to the Japanese throne

I have a view about the Template:Japanese Imperial Family. Shouldn't we use & instead of ? I think & is better. Keivan.f (talk) 18:50, 20 June 2012 (UTC)Reply

In the navbox, the en:ampersand has been replaced with a neutral  • template.

I accept the implied suggestion that the plus-sign is not good -- not appropriate for the royal subjects of this navbox.

At the same time, I think that an ampersand is also not good. Is this graphic symbol not satisfactory?

Your addition of family mon symbols is interesting because it creates a link with the articles which have yet to be created. --Horeki (talk) 19:06, 20 June 2012 (UTC)Reply

But I thought & was better anyway.

Also I added family mon symbols to show members of the each family separately. Keivan.f (talk) 19:36, 20 June 2012 (UTC)Reply

Consort

Your one-word change here was elegant. --Horeki (talk) 19:15, 21 June 2012 (UTC)Reply

Sarah, Duchess of York

change

Is it really "curtsey titles", or should it be "courtesy titles"? --Auntof6 (talk) 11:03, 26 July 2013 (UTC)Reply

I really don't know. But if it is like that please correct it in Diana, Princess of Wales and Sarah, Duchess of York. Keivan.f (talk) 11:24, 26 July 2013 (UTC)Reply
I looked it up to be sure. It's courtesy title. I'll fix those two articles. --Auntof6 (talk) 11:28, 26 July 2013 (UTC)Reply
