The Merging Barnstar
I only just noticed this, because I remembered this morning that I'd forgotten to do something. These last few days have been hectic, and my time has slipped away. So thank you so much for that! :) It looks great, to me. Osiris (talk) 02:24, 15 November 2012 (UTC)

I much admit, I am a bit amazed my all this. When I started on the English Wikipedia just a few months ago, I believe I was just an annoying user who asked a million questions. And all I really ever did there was change and add to my userpage - I had not yet learned how to edit. I nearly decided to completely slide away from editing on Wikipedia, for it was very boring.
Then Andrew from NC posted somewhere on EN:WP about a new "Wikiproject Christianity" he had started on ‘’Simple’’. Out of curiosity I checked it out. I decided to join it, so I created an account under the username "America Needs Jesus" (that was my user name there at the time). Some editors here did not like my username and asked me to change. I told them that I was allowed to keep it on EN:WP, but they still persisted.
I had done a little overview of this Wikipedia and I liked it. I had even already started a few articles (something I could never do on EN). All my life, I've felt like such a bother, so I really wanted to avoid doing that here. I decided to change it for them. I wanted my username to have something to with my country, America. I don't why, but "American Eagle" came to mind. I checked it, and it was free. They then changed it for me, and since then, I use American Eagle on pretty much any site I create an account on (including changing my username on EN to it).
Much to my amazement, I asked more questions here than I did starting out on EN! (Special thanks to all who answered my questions.) I now believe that if I had not had all those questions answered for me, and for the understanding and helpfulness of editors here, I would never be the editor I have learned to be. I had made so many mistakes starting out, such as changing all British to American English, and posted a SPAM message on tons of user’s talk pages (oh wait, what am I doing now?!), but believe I have learned my lesson.
I'm really not sure why I wrote out an essay on this thank you message, I guess I just felt like it. I especially want to thank those who nominated me, but I am so grateful for each and every one of you who gave your trust to me in this way, I will not abuse it. I say it again, Thank you. -- America†alk 18:12, 12 July 2008 (UTC)

Chenzw, I hope that you have a very Merry Christmas 2008, and that Santa brings you everything you want :P. If you are going away anywhere, have a great time, and whatever else you do I really hope you enjoy it!
Chenzw, thanks for your comments in my recent RfA which closed as 12/11 or "no consensus". I hope to work on the things that were raised and prove to the community that I am worthy of the mop, this includes showing my RL stability, that I don't have Ownership issues with DYK and also showing that I know what consensus is. Special thanks go to Kennedy for nominating me! Thanks for your comments! GoblinBot3 (talk)
