Liguria (/lɪˈɡ(j)ʊəriə/, Italian: [liˈɡuːrja]; Ligurian: Ligûria, [liˈɡyːɾja]) is a region of Northern Italy. The capital is Genoa. The population was about 1,557,533 in 2017.
