We were lucky that Ljubljana hosted the European Neonatology Congress, the first event jointly organized by the UENPS - Union of European Neonatal and Perinatal Societies and the EFCNI - European Foundation for the Care of Newborn Infants. Just finished our meeting with Medis in Ljubljana where together with Žmuc Nataša we discussed future business opportunities for our markets in Slovenia and Croatia.Already for many years medac GmbH and Medis are together working hard to improve access to our therapies for an increasing number of patients in these two countries. People. Purpose. Passion. The perfect potion for magic to happen. When the 3 combine, not only you achieve great things together but you get to enjoy the process along the way. Getting to Ljubljana was not easy. I got stuck in Zurich on my way there, had to reorganise the training into 2 days as a result and landed straight into the delivery. The team at Medis were so good at accommodating these changes, came with the best energy and gave it all in 2 days of real hard work. And had fun along the way (hopefully not just in the picnic!). If I had to add another word to the 3 mentioned above, I would say PLACE. Because Ljubljana is one of the most beautiful places I have ever been. Inside out. The streets, the canals, the food, the people. It made me want to go back for a long holiday! Thank you to Iris Baruca and her team for trusting me in delivering this training and contributing to their great strategy.
