Just wrapped up our second General Assembly for our PESCO-UP project in Ptuj, Slovenia, on 17-18 June, where we're thrilled to have shared among the consortium the latest updates about PESCO-UP! ✨ We made significant progress related to the separation process, from the original materials to the final products (non-woven, woven, knitted), using chemical/mechanical separation, filtration and regeneration ♻   We also heard about the use of hyperspectral images to analyse the material composition and properties of samples, especially to detect elastane and additives, and we discussed the evaluation of eight polyester and five cotton recycling routes for CO/PES textiles!
