David John Cawdell Irving (24. mart 1938 - ) je engleski historičar, poznat kao autor knjiga o Drugom svjetskom ratu, ali i kao jedan od najpoznatijih poricatelja Holokausta. Slavu je stekao u mladosti bestseler-knjigom The Destruction of Dresden u kojoj opisuje savezničko bombardiranje Dresdena, a 1970-ih je imao niz zapaženih knjiga kojima daje revizionistički prikaz rata, pri čemu je najviše uspjeha imao Hitler's War iz 1977. S vremenom je, zbog sklonosti da u svojim djelima opravdava Hitlera i nacistički režim, kao i sve eksplicitnijim izražavanjem sumnje u Holokaust stekao popularnost u neonacističkim, antisemitskim i radikalno desnim krugovima, ali i status persone non grate u brojnim evropskim i zapadnim državama. 2000. godine je na londonskom sudu izgubio znamenitu parnicu Irving v Penguin Books and Lipstadt, a 2006. je u Austriji osuđen na zatvorsku kaznu zbog kršenja tamošnjih zakona o poricanju Holokausta.
