Fredric Wertham

Fredrik Vertham (engl. Fredric Wertham, nem. Friedrich Wertheimer; Minhen, 20. mart 1895Kempton, 18. novembar 1981) je bio nemačko-američki psihijatar jevrejskog porekla[1] i borac protiv onogo što je smatrao za štetne posledice nasilnih slika u medijima i stripovima na razvoj dece.[2] Njegova najpoznatija knjiga je „Zavođenje nevinih“ (1954), što je dovelo do istrage američkog Kongresa o izdavačima stripova i stvaranja Kodeksa o stripovima. Nazivao je televiziju „školom za nasilje“ i govorio je: „ako bi trebalo da sretnem neobuzdanog mladića u tamnoj uličici, želeo bih da to bude onaj koji nije gledao „Boni i Klajda“.“[3]
