One thing you can NEVER fully learn from school is how good PMs inspire people, encourage them, and help each other succeed. It is truly an art, and you have to learn from the good ones and find your unique personality as a PM - every PM has their own way of working with others.

I find that interviews are just a starting point for identifying user pain points, and conducting many interviews can be costly, leading to common biases. Here's what I usually do: - Identify user pain points through interviews. - Validate those points with quantitative data. - Understand the business impact behind the user pain points.

When I started working on Generative AI initiatives, I faced many challenges and was unfamiliar with best practices. Here are 2 things I am doing: - I actively engage in conversations with industry leaders. - I set up regular sharing sessions with GenAI PMs from other companies to gain insights and share challenges with each other.

Know what you don't know, and be honest with your stakeholders and management from the very beginning, acknowledging that your team is still learning this new technology, actively exploring best practices, making mistakes, and learning along the way. But here's what I discovered: - Kids and parents didn't embrace it; the design was often difficult to understand. - It took developers a longer time to fully implement the design. - Ensuring future design consistency became more time-consuming for me. In conclusion, when applying the latest design trends, consider three important factors: - Will your target persona be inclined to purchase the trending design? - Does the trend complicate the maintenance of the design? - Does it increase the development effort required for the new design?
