What are effective ways to expand your professional network remotely?
You’d be surprised how open people are with their time when one reaches out (as long as you’re not trying to sell them anything)! If you are looking to build your network in an area, segment, region etc. and you know someone is strong in that area- ping them and ask for a 20min connect.

What do you do if you want to expand your professional network beyond your industry in Thought Leadership?
I agree, but it comes down to time and value. What value can I provide at the Dental conference? Perhaps how GenAI can change their world!? Perhaps but then I will be seen as selling? That said, getting perspectives from those outside your “normal” circle creates much better innovation!

In my experience, the best gift you can give someone is your time. I always reach out to people when I know they need someone to talk to but are often too afraid of looking weak or shy to ask for help.

Dell Technologies World took centre stage for our customers and partners in May. It was an incredible week with a huge focus on AI-driven innovation with the Dell Technologies AI Factory. You can access the content from the event here for the next 30 days: https://lnkd.in/gsQbNgAC. The day 1 and day 2 keynotes featuring NVIDIA, ServiceNow, SAMSUNG SDS, Hugging Face, Meta and others were exceptional. The keynotes, sessions and breakouts were valuable, but I think the highlight for many was how many connections they made in person throughout the week. Seeing organisations from APJ have the opportunity to meet with US organisations to dive into the complex topic of cyber recovery and resilience at scale, driving ROI, getting executive support and enhancing business continuity was just one example of many connections of value made throughout the week. A true testament to Dell Technologies’ ability to create an environment to share and learn together. FYI, the Sphere got rave reviews too. The Dell Technologies ecosystem was alive and thriving with representation from Index Engines, Druva, Samsung Electronics America, NTT DATA, Continuity Software, MetalSoft, CrowdStrike, Schneider Electric, EY, and Deloitte to name a few. Next year's dates are locked for May 19-22, 2025. If I can help you determine whether you should make attending in 2025 a priority, just ask. I'm not a huge fan of Vegas, but Dell Technologies World always delivers. And, when you want to get off the strip, there is always the magnificent Nevada countryside to explore. :) #IWork4Dell
