Where is the money in Digital Health in #APAC? 💰 $3.2 billion of venture capital funding has been invested in the past 15 months 👶 Early-stage funding continues to struggle. The share of first cheques of all investments is only at 14% of all deals that were closed in that period. 👧 Series A and Series B funding are by volume share ahead of Early Stage deals. I just returned from a dinner with many founders in Singapore, and everyone asked me what they should do, as most VCs in this region seem to be hibernating. Our Partner, Jamie Lin, shared his view on DSA just at the right time. (Can DM me if you wanna read the article.) Yes, it is very tough now. Don't lose hope. We've seen many founders in our community who successfully shifted their company towards healthy growth (= maintaining both top and bottom line) and still luckily moved on to the next fundraising. Yes, all returned to the business fundamental: Build a strong PMF and pave it with a strong moat. Survive, survive, survive. Make your customer pay, be creative with capital. Until you find an investor with the same conviction. (I told my founder husband every day.) It's not impossible. But it's not easy. And we at AppWorks are always very proud of all founders who are still fighting! 💪

Bros who make million-dollar revenue projections based on TAM, SOM, and CUM The keyword we are looking for is being "realistic" and If you are not then we say Delulu (Delusional) If you work on the revenue based on any LOIs/ Pre-orders (Bottom-up) then it makes sense? Instead, if you straight-up work from the top down, it shows that you are simply in Disney land (unless you have a solid plan) How do you view revenue projection in the seed stage? #seed #startup #vcfunding #revenue
