Vena Energy has reached a significant achievement with a Conditional Approval granted by Energy Market Authority (EMA) to export 400 megawatts (MW) of solar power from Riau Islands, Indonesia to Singapore. In partnership with Shell, the project is set to generate over 2.6 Terawatt hours (TWh) of green energy annually, powered by more than 2 Gigawatts (GW) of solar PV plants and 8 Gigawatt hours (GWh) of utility-scale battery energy storage systems. This will provide Singapore with a dispatchable green energy solution based on semi-firm supply of renewable power, playing an important role in Singapore’s energy transition to a lower-carbon future. “Vena Energy is committed to supporting Singapore in achieving its renewable energy targets whilst also supporting the development of a renewable energy manufacturing supply chain in Indonesia. This project serves as a model of cooperation between Singapore and Indonesia, generating valuable investment opportunities and propelling both countries towards a more sustainable and prosperous future. In collaboration with the Myeongdong Community Centre (명동주민센터), the Vena Energy team in Korea initiated a street cleaning campaign to engage the public and directly participated in picking up litter.      Myeongdong, the heart of Seoul, visited by many travellers and Seoulites, is where Vena Energy’s office is situated. Yesterday marked a significant milestone in our mission to accelerate the energy transition in Asia Pacific, with a signed investment agreement with MGen Renewable Energy Inc. (MGreen), for the joint construction of the 550MW Bugallon Solar Power Project.  Developed by Vena Energy, the Project is expected to start construction this year and commence commercial operations by the fourth quarter of 2025. With its 550MW of DC capacity, the Project will be one of the biggest solar power plants in the Philippines. “Vena Energy is committed to accelerating the energy transition and advancing green solutions that foster sustainable growth and environmental stewardship. This International Youth Day, we empowered 50 youths in India through a skill development programme, where they secured stable employment in the Hospitality sector. In collaboration with Tourism & Hospitality Skill Council the programme offered comprehensive hospitality training that blended theoretical and practical sessions. Our goal was to equip these young individuals with essential skills and knowledge needed for the hospitality industry, thereby creating stable work opportunities and fostering career growth.    Through collaborative efforts and a dedicated approach, all 50 participants have successfully secured positions across Hyderabad, enjoying competitive wages and comprehensive benefits for holistic support.
