We are proud to share the outstanding achievements of our Swiss-AS teams in the 2024 #BikeToWork Edition! Here are a few stats that highlight our commitment and motivation: 🚲 48 participants cycled a total of 13,230 km over 1,262 bike days during May and June. 🌦️ Despite the mixed weather, our team cycled on 79% of their work days on average, with 18 participants achieving a perfect 100%! 📈 Each participant averaged 269.6 km, surpassing the nationwide average of 255.6 km! 🏆 Shoutout to our top 3 cyclists who covered an impressive 899 km, 800 km, and 740 km respectively! 👥 We formed 12 teams of 4, and one exceptional team had all its members reach 100% cycling days! 🚴♂️ 💪 Another team covered the impressive distance of 2,091 km, and six other teams surpassed the 1,000 km mark. We are delighted that 27 enthusiastic Swiss-AS employees took part in the B2Run Schweizer Firmenlauf! 🏃🏃 It was an incredible experience, full of energy, camaraderie and a lot of fun. This 5.8km run brought us together in a unique way, highlighting the spirit of teamwork and the joy of collective achievement. From the invigorating warm-up lap to the final sprint, every moment was a testament to the commitment and enthusiasm of our team. Whether you were a seasoned runner who effortlessly made it through or someone who was just happy to cross the finish line, everyone felt included and celebrated. We are pleased to announce that the Portuguese aircraft line/base maintenance provider MESA - Aircraft Maintenance successfully went live with #AMOS on June 5th. This marks the culmination of 17 months of dedicated collaboration between MESA and a focused team at Swiss-AS. As the MRO arm of the Mirpuri Group (owner of the airline HI FLY), MESA previously relied on operator oriented systems shared with HiFly to manage its operations. Now MESA has undergone a significant transformation and has become a fully autonomous MRO provider. The implementation of the AMOS MRO Edition will be instrumental in supporting MESA's ambitious growth plans. This includes the expansion from a single hangar with one aircraft position to multiple hangars with up to five dedicated maintenance bays in the coming years, while also adding component maintenance capabilities to the portfolio.   Key improvements: - Streamlined operations through a dedicated MRO software solution. - Improved scalability to enable future growth. - Improved efficiency and productivity.   We would like to express our sincere gratitude to the MESA project team and all Swiss-AS colleagues who have contributed to the success of this project. We are confident that AMOS will enable MESA to achieve its operational and business goals. We look forward to a continued successful partnership with MESA on its exciting growth path.

This year, Swiss-AS has collaborated closely with Swiss International Air Lines which is the first customer to move to the latest stable version of AMOS 24.6 that was published on June 1st, 2024. It is remarkable that SWISS was able to migrate to the new release just 25 days after its release. This rapid migration demonstrates the successful co-operation between Swiss-AS and SWISS and shows the efficiency and effectiveness of our partnership. The swift introduction of #AMOS 24.6 emphasises SWISS's willingness and adaptability to use the latest technologies to improve its processes. The migration process involved guiding a significant number of users, supported by a dedicated team of process analysts, over a period of 1-2 weeks. Although the initial target was 1 week, the duration had to be extended due to a high workload in maintenance and operations. After rigorous testing and review of improvements from implemented change requests, AMOS 24.6 will bring many benefits for various business areas and act as an enabler for future improvements. The implementation of the latest AMOS version will also be coordinated between the Technical Fleet Management (TFM) airlines of Lufthansa Group to capitalise on synergies. Lufthansa Airlines, another member of the LH Group, is expected to introduce AMOS Release 24.6 in autumn 2024.

This week, we celebrated the opening and seamless transfer of ownership of our own Singapore branch office together with our regional Meet the Management meeting with our CFO Roger Aeschbacher, the HR and Finance teams from Basel. After two days of engaging discussions and fruitful exchanges, our teams from Tokyo and Singapore came together to celebrate!   The APAC Team Leads from Consulting, IT Operations, and Customer Care & Support charted the way forward, sharing their visionary plans with us. It was an inspiring session with many valuable insights!   We were also delighted to have colleagues from AVIATAR join us to shape the future of the Lufthansa Technik Digital Tech Ops #Ecosystem together. The event was rounded off with a nice dinner, which was also attended by our sister companies Lufthansa Technik, Lufthansa Systems, and Lufthansa Innovation Hub.
