  • Global #semiconductor MNCs can count on partnerships and a vibrant local ecosystem in Singapore to support their innovation and sustainability goals. Equipment and substrate companies, semiconductor equipment assembly players and solution providers are among the diverse pool of suppliers and partners helping MNCs plug production gaps and build supply chain resilience. Among them are: ⚪ ELH Additive Manufacturing: A local precision engineering company that moved into Additive Manufacturing for metal/polymer materials. It works with MNCs across industries such as aerospace, defense and semiconductor manufacturing. ⚪ Gauss Labs: A Singapore-based industrial AI startup focusing on AI-based solutions that can improve high-volume semiconductor manufacturing efficiency by reducing process variability by 30%. ⚪ Gurobi Optimization: A Singapore-based company specialising in computational mathematical programming and prescriptive analysis that can help companies leverage data to optimise business decisions. Industry trade associations like the Singapore Semiconductor Industry Association (SSIA) play a crucial role in driving partnerships between global players and Singapore enterprises. At their annual Business Connect event this week, themed "Empowering SMEs through Collaboration and Innovation", SSIA brought together global semiconductor giants, local enterprises (including small-and-medium-sized enterprises), research institutes and government agencies to foster knowledge exchange and collaboration within the semiconductor ecosystem.
