As the global #supplychain reconfiguration continues, digitalisation and #innovation are integral for companies in ensuring supply chain resilience. Over two days, Singapore’s #SupplyChainConnect 2024 conference featured insights from shippers and logistics players on how they are building agility, strengthening networks and reducing risks to support sustainable business growth. Senior leaders from TE Connectivity, Mondelēz International, BIOTRONIK, Johnson & Johnson MedTech, MLS Logistics, A.P. Moller - Maersk and Agilent Technologies were among the speakers, with DHL APAC providing a comprehensive overview of the region's supply chain landscape. Singapore is investing in logistics, connectivity and workforce development to remain a critical and trusted supply chain hub for global companies. Businesses can partner with public sector research institutes like A*STAR - Agency for Science, Technology and Research’s Advanced Remanufacturing and Technology Centre (ARTC) on supply chain innovation. PSA Singapore highlighted its end-to-end supply chain solutions through its Tuas Port ecosystem while Changi Airport Group, together with partners FedEx, SATS Ltd. and Singapore Airlines Cargo, shared how they are enabling seamless global air cargo flows despite ongoing supply chain disruptions. Companies can also leverage Singapore’s partnerships with Malaysia and Indonesia, through the SIJORI model and the upcoming JSSEZ as part of their supply chain expansion and resilience strategies.
