"Decarbonization for a Resilient Future" hosted by IES and ASHRAE featured insights from SIMTech's Sustainability division on carbon footprint reduction, alongside discussions on #circulareconomy, #builtenvironment innovations, and decarbonization strategies for companies.
A big thanks to the Institution of Engineers Singapore (IES) and ASHRAE for inviting me to speak at the seminar “Decarbonization for Resilient Future: Shaping a Sustainable Tomorrow”. I represented Singapore Institute of Manufacturing Technology's Sustainability division and shared our team’s work over the last few years developing technology and tools to help companies lower their carbon footprint. I also learnt a lot about recent developments in #circulareconomy, as well as sustainability tools for #builtenvironment, such as #digitaltwins, from my fellow speakers Seeram Ramakrishna, Alvin Ee, and Srimannarayana NCVK. The seminar concluded with a panel discussion and a lot of the questions we received were about decarbonisation strategies for companies and carbon accounting. Hopefully, we were able to inspire the many engineers in the audience to implement sustainable practices in their work!
