Last Saturday, RHB staff and their families came together for the RHB Touch Hearts 2024 event. As part of our group-wide community enrichment programme, the annual RHB Touch Hearts empowers over 14,000 RHBians across Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand, Cambodia, Laos and Brunei to give back through meaningful initiatives. This year, we partnered with FILOS Community Services to organise an intergenerational Family Day Carnival for 130 beneficiaries in the Chai Chee estate. The theme, "Small Acts, Big Impact", was brought to life through the collective efforts of our volunteers and Filos, with seemingly small gestures - be it volunteering time, participating in activities, or raising funds - creating a significant positive impact on our community. Our CEO and Country Head, Danny Quah, presented the funds raised through our internal Touch Hearts fundraising drive to Filos, supporting their Community Mental Health Services which provide assistance to individuals who are at risk of or have mental health conditions. From providing case management and counselling support to programmes for persons with dementia and their caregivers, Filos strives to help individuals with mental health concerns live and age well in the community. As part of RHB Singapore's annual Touch Hearts initiative to give back to the community, the Bank held an internal fundraising carnival for staff to contribute financially while enjoying delicious food and snacks. Our HODs helmed the food stations and rallied our staff to buy their goodies, while our charity partner, FILOS Community Services, also set up a booth to sell hand-made crochet items from one of their beneficiaries. All proceeds from the carnival go towards Filos' mental health services for the community. We thoroughly enjoyed the delicious food from Tai Cheong Bakery Singapore, Birds Of Paradise, Original Vadai, Selera Rasa Nasi Lemak and Tian Tian Hainanese Chicken Rice. Thank you for your participation and support in making this event a success and contributing to a meaningful cause.
