For 300 years, the Maison Rémy Martin historical house has stood as a symbol of our rich history and passion for cognac. This week, that legacy was celebrated on an international stage as we were honored with the 'International Best of Wine Tourism' award at the Great Wine Capitals awards! 🏆 This distinction, the first of its kind for a #cognac house, coming after our regional 'Best Wine Tourism’ win, is a true testament to the meticulous restoration and immersive experience we've created to share our heritage with the world. ✨ The passion, dedication, and commitment to preserving our heritage while creating an unforgettable visitor experience made this achievement possible. Embarking on the path to decarbonization requires continuous investment and a strong ability to innovate 🌱. Collective intelligence is also a strong lever for success, whether through the support and buy-in of teams worldwide 🌎 or through association with partners who share the same vision🤝. This week, Verallia France inaugurated the world's 100% electric furnace with the largest capacity in the food packaging industry, at the heart of its factory located in Cognac, Charente. First of all, we would like to extend our most sincere congratulations to the men and women who designed this technical innovation 💡, a pioneering milestone in this industry. It is also a great source of pride for our cognac house Rémy Martin, which has chosen to entrust them with the production of several bottles used for its exceptional spirits. Working towards more sustainable growth is a pillar of our CSR strategy, Sustainable Exception ♻️. Among our objectives, a 50% reduction in CO2eq per bottle by 2030 🎯 #ExceptionalSpirits #SustainableException
The world's 1st 100% electric furnace for food packaging glass created by our partner @Verallia was inaugurated this week in Cognac, in the Charente region of France! - Biodiversity guides a large number of actions in our #SustainableException CSR roadmap: this week, we are putting them in the spotlight. 💚 - We are convinced that the quality of our products depends on respect for our terroirs. It's a value we share with The Botanist, our gin from the wild Scottish island of Islay. With its foundation, The Botanist is committed to conservation efforts and preserving biodiversity through a number of actions. 🌿 Working with local groups, the foundation supports projects such as studying and supporting insects and plants, part-funding a PHD student to study juniper genomics and supporting local students to study subjects aligned with the foundation‘s aims with an annual bursary. It has a long-standing partnership with Botanic Gardens Conservation International and supports their efforts to stop plants becoming extinct all over the world. It is working to reintroduce wild flowers to the island of Islay, providing an enchanting spectacle for local residents and benefiting pollinators. The foundation has created a sensory garden so that pupils at Islay High School can enjoy all the benefits of rich flora and fauna. The Botanist Foundation's exceptional commitment resonates with our values in favor of biodiversity and community well-being. 👏 #Biodiversity

- Biodiversity guides a large number of actions in our #SustainableException CSR roadmap: this week, we are putting them in the spotlight. 💚 - METAXA protects the birds of Samos ! The island of Samos, where The House of Metaxa sources its precious Muscat wine ingredient, boasts remarkable biodiversity. To preserve this precious natural heritage, a bird conservation and nature program has been set up, in partnership with the Hellenic Ornithological Society, particularly around the METAXA LIKNON vineyardand the Path of the Muscat vineyards hiking trail. What does this program involve? 🦅 Monitoring local and migratory bird species, with a focus on endangered species. Did you know that Samos is home to 80% of the world's population of Eleonora falcons? 🦅 Installation of nesting boxes, an insect hotel and bird feeding stations to promote biodiversity. 🦅 Raising awareness and educating local communities about the importance of bird conservation. This program, an inspiring example of harmonious coexistence between nature and man, is a testament to The House of Metaxa's commitment to protecting its unique terroir! #Biodiversity
