PTV Group was honored to co-exhibit with Geotechnologies, Inc. at the Automotive Engineering Exposition in Nagoya, Japan. Our team delivered daily presentations, showcasing the newly launched Vissim Automotive ✨ In our presentations, we also highlighted how Geotechnologies, a domestic map maker, gathers pedestrian movement data via mobile phones, transforming it into origin-destination data. PTV Group then leverages this data to build Visum networks, which are then exported to Vissim for detailed microsimulations with Mapfun DB. A huge thank you to everyone who visited our booth and attended our presentations. Get a sneak peek of the upcoming features and innovations in PTV Visum 2025 & PTV Vissim 2025 already now. Important note on the beta versions: 👨🏫 Who may use it? Customers with a valid license for PTV Visum 2024 or PTV Vissim 2024. 📅 When does the beta expire? Thursday, Oct. 31st, 2024. 🤓 What can I use it for? The beta versions are specifically designed to incorporate and test new features. Small modifications as well as file format updates are possible until the official release in fall; therefore, we do not recommend using the beta version for project related work. The recently approved metro project for the Tel Aviv Metropolitan Area is among the largest infrastructure undertakings in the world today. It will feature three lines, 109 stations—seven of which will serve as transportation hubs—and span 150 kilometers, all constructed from the ground up. This extensive network will cover a total of 19 municipalities within the metropolitan region. In a modeling project, modelers from Tel Aviv analyzed pedestrian flows throughout the Yoseftal Holon hub station to improve overall usability and safety.
