PM Group was appointed by SynchroStor to provide engineering solutions for their pumped thermal energy storage (PTES) demonstrator plant in Edinburgh. As a company committed to supporting energy transition, we were keen to contribute to this innovative project.   At the heart of Synchrostor’s technology is a novel compressor/expander machine. Designed to enhance system efficiency, it uses solid material in modular, decoupled pressure silos. This solution is an innovative approach to energy storage.   "We look forward to seeing Synchrostor's demonstrator plant operating in 2025. We are delighted to appoint Stefano Genesio as Director of CQV/Cx. Stefano has an impressive track record with over 20 years’ experience in the Life Sciences and Mission Critical sectors. His appointment reflects our commitment to our clients' success. In his new role, Stefano will work closely with PM Group’s key clients including Sanofi, MSD, J&J, BMS, J&J Innovative Medicines, UCB and Novo Nordisk. He will be responsible for aligning the international CQV/Cx strategy with the wider PM Group strategy.
