The future of multiple use, Muuse is a smart system of free reusable takeaway. Just Borrow, Enjoy, and Return!

About us

With a smart system of reusable returnable packaging, we offer corporates, cafes, and customers a convenient alternative to single-use packaging. To date, we’ve saved over 400,000 single-use items across our projects in Singapore, Hong Kong, the US and Canada! By tagging each reusable with a unique QR code, we are able to track and monitor each reusable in our system, allowing for optimized inventory management and accurate impact data – thus removing the need for a deposit. Having achieved a return-rate of 98%, our proprietary expertise can extend beyond F&B to make sustainable convenience a reality for multiple consumer products. Our team is always on the lookout for new friends, ideas, and partners. Reach out to us at [email protected] to join the #ReuseRevolution!

We’re proud to have been a part of the Sustainable Production Forum hosted by Sustainable Entertainment Society in Toronto, where we showcased just how impactful reuse can be! 🌿 In the picture: a catered lunch for hundreds of attendees, all served in our reusable Muuse containers. This event proves that it’s possible to host a major conference with net zero catering waste. By providing sustainable, reusable solutions, we’re helping organizations and events of all sizes make a real difference — without compromising on convenience or quality. A huge thank you to the Sustainable Production Forum for leading by example and showing that sustainable events are not just an idea but a reality. 💚 #muuse #canada #reuse #circulareconomy

The evolution of the circular economy: From 2.0 to 3.0 ♻️ The concept of a circular economy has evolved significantly over the years. Back in the 1990s and early 2000s, Circular Economy 2.0 expanded on the classic 3Rs with strategies like pollution prevention, sustainable design, and cradle-to-cradle approaches. Industrial ecology and eco-industrial parks also emerged as solutions to enhance resource efficiency. 🌿 Fast forward to today — we’re in the era of Circular Economy 3.0. The focus is now on maximizing resource value through closed-loop systems, replacing virgin materials with secondary resources, and building business models that prioritize sustainability. It’s all about creating a resilient, waste-free economy where materials keep circulating, reducing our environmental impact. 🌍 And that’s where the 9Rs framework comes in, taking the classic 3Rs to a new level. By focusing on proactive waste prevention and maximizing resource use, the 9Rs — from Refuse and Rethink to Repurpose and Recover — provide a comprehensive guide for businesses and individuals alike to truly design waste out of our systems. At Muuse, we’re committed to advancing these principles and making reuse an integral part of the circular economy. Together, we can shift away from wasteful practices and build a future where materials stay in the loop for as long as possible. Ready to rethink the way we use resources? Let’s make every item count. 💚 #muuse #reuse #circulareconomy

We had an amazing experience at the “Global Shifts, Local Actions: Championing a Plastic-Free Future through the Power of Reuse” seminar aboard the legendary Rainbow Warrior, hosted by Greenpeace East Asia! 🌿 It was inspiring to see so many passionate leaders from Hong Kong, Japan, and Taiwan come together, all driven by a shared vision for a plastic-free future. The panels were buzzing with energy, exploring how businesses can lead the way in building sustainable, reusable solutions. Special thanks to @Dr. Samuel Chui-Dir from the Environmental Protection Department and Mr. Lam Chiu Ying, Hong Kong’s renowned meteorologist, for their insightful talks that got us all thinking. 🌏 We’re especially proud of our own Natasha Kakkar Chawla for stepping up and representing Muuse, sharing how we’re making reuse practical, scalable, and impactful. 💚 Big shoutout to Greenpeace for bringing this incredible event together and to our inspiring speakers: Amy LAI, Benjamin Steuer, Duan Yuan, Leanne Tam, Meike Sauerwein, PhD, Pang Cheung Sze, Sabrina Wang, and Yuichi Yoshimura. This is just the start. Together, we’re turning big ideas into real action — and we’re excited to see where this movement takes us next. 💪♻️ #Muuse #Greenpeace #ReuseRevolution #CircularEconomy #HongKong

Imagine this: an event without single-use waste. 🌿 That’s exactly what we achieved at the recent Evergreen Canada conference in partnership with The Food Dudes. We delivered clean, reusable containers to the caterer, who filled them with delicious meals. Attendees got to enjoy their lunch knowing they were part of a zero-waste experience. 💚 The best part? Returning the containers was as easy as dropping them into our designated bins, placed conveniently around the venue. Instead of piling up in a landfill, these containers were collected, washed, and prepped for their next event. ♻️ It’s a simple system, but it makes a massive impact. By providing a sustainable alternative to single-use packaging, we’re proving that zero-waste events aren’t just possible — they’re the future. #muuse #canada #reuse #circulareconomy

We’ve just dropped the latest edition of the Muuseletter, and it’s all about our reusable container program at Our Tampines Hub in Singapore! 🌱 From November 2022 to October 2023, we worked to reduce single-use waste at this iconic hawker centre. Our life cycle analysis with Unravel Carbon shows the potential: if all takeaway meals used reusables, we could prevent 160,000 containers from heading to landfills each year and save 21 tonnes of CO2 — that’s like cutting out 10 flights from Singapore to Toronto! ✈️ Curious about how it all went down and our community engagement efforts? Dive into the Muuseletter for all the details. #muuse #reuse #circulareconomy #singapore

Disposable culture vs. reuse: Which path are we taking? 🤔 The first image from Canada shows the staggering impact of single-use disposables. This coffee shop collected 15,000 cups in just one month — highlighting the urgent need for alternatives. Customers who brought their reusable cups were served immediately, while those who opted for disposables had to walk through the sea of waste. The bold move went viral, shining a light on the scale of the problem. In Kyoto, our team saw similar piles of waste after just a single day of service at a café. It’s clear that single-use culture is unsustainable, and these scenes are becoming all too familiar. At Muuse, we’re determined to change this narrative. Our reusable systems are designed to be as easy and accessible as possible, offering the convenience of single-use without the waste. With return points in key locations and a focus on making sustainability seamless, Muuse is leading the charge to reduce disposable waste — and the results are already significant. So far, we’ve saved over 50 tonnes of CO2! 🚀 It’s time to rethink how we consume. Reuse isn’t just an option — it’s the future. #circulareconomy #reuse #muuse
