Singapore is known to many as a food paradise. Even then, there are some families and individuals who lack the privilege of food security. Today, 18 warm-hearted M1 employees came together to organise and pack food provisions, including rice, for beneficiaries of the Food from the Heart programme. This impactful initiative aims to alleviate hunger and reduce food waste. On a monthly basis, a staggering 13,000 packs are needed to support those in need in Singapore. At M1, we believe that every organisation and individual can contribute towards a cleaner and green future for all. To encourage our people to actively play a part in preserving our planet, 70 staff members from our Finance, CSR & Sustainability, Procurement, and Facilities teams recently participated in a Beach Clean-Up event at East Coast Park as part of their team bonding activity. Working together to pick up trash from the beach, coastal areas, and parks, their collective efforts resulted in the collection of over 30 bags of trash. This initiative not only strengthened team bonds but also demonstrated our commitment to environmental sustainability. Kudos to our people for their hard work and efforts to raising awareness on Singapore’s environmental challenges.
