HELLO Sunny Singapore 😎 Our 7th store across the island and first in the East at the newly renovated Tampines 1 Mall! We’ve been exploring a new store location to serve our community in the East and finally opened a 3,500 sqft store at 10 Tampines Central 1 #02-08/09 🌴 It was definitely a memorable experience meeting our community in person with an in-store Beach Blitz game, BerryBar sweet treats and exclusive gift with purchases. #Funfact, this is also the only store in Singapore that thoroughly reflects the brand’s new identity! See you around if you’re in the area 🥳

As part of our social responsibility to the fashion industry, we partner exclusively with suppliers that are compliant with industry standard social audits such as BSCI and SMETA. The partnership is guided by Love, Bonito’s Supplier Code of Conduct, which includes zero tolerance for forced and child labour, maximum working hours and minimum living wages. The series of images features the making of our Signatures collection with suppliers in China. The working environment across various suppliers are safe and hygienic, well lit and well spaced out. Working hours are also kept to a standard workweek, with fair and equal remuneration provided for workers. #corporateresponsibility

Last month, we celebrated #Inclusivity! Our Bronitos of varying ethnicity, sexual orientation and life seasons participated in a friendly debate around Workplace Inclusivity. We explored topics around the importance of diverse leadership representation, DEI training and disclosure of personal details to drive more catered initiatives and were heartened to see #TeamLB participating enthusiastically in these conversations, both online and offline! 🔥 We also engaged therapists from Singapore Association of the Visually Handicapped to provide #TeamLB a good kneading, with a larger goal to expose teams to people with disabilities, and nurture a stronger sense of empathy and appreciation ❤️ Topping off the day with free flow ice cream in traditional bread from Cone Island. The booth was decorated with colourful rainbow flags and in celebration of pride, love and diversity in Love, Bonito! 🌈 #diversity #inclusion

We’re so proud to launch the High Waist Pencil Midi Skirt, an upcycled skirt that was previously designed as a dress. When we first saw the piece in person, we knew that they were not fit for sale due to bubbles on the fabric. While processes are in place to ensure that we keep defective apparel to a minimum, such instances still occur and we are committed to ensuring better end-of-life management of these clothes. Despite additional resources required, we knew that this was a step in the right direction when it comes to reducing our impact on the environment. #sustainability #circularfashion

“Specifically for email and Slack, you might be surprised but I actually don't enable push notifications to my mobile at all." Our CEO, Dione Song, shares with Tatler Asia how she set boundaries so that she's able to lead with resilience and longevity. Her key advice? Learn to be okay seeking help regardless of your seniority within the organisation.

According to CNA, Singapore is seeing a falling number of fashion design graduates, with one key reason being the lack of a strong ecosystem to support local designers. Being one of the leading fashion brands in Southeast Asia, we’re proud to  partner up with Asia’s leading contemporary arts and design institution LASALLE College of the Arts to establish the Young Graduate Designer’s Industry Award. This award exposes aspiring Asian fashion designers with real world experiences in the international fashion industry and provides graduates with an entry point into the fashion industry. After months of rigorous design presentations, CEO Dione Song presented talented winners Ni Siting and Pricilla Chiquita Mintura with a 2-month long apprenticeship with our Design & Development team. Our first prize winner Siting also won a cash prize of S$1000! Huge thank you to Circe Henestrosa and the LASALLE Team for empowering young talents and making this collaboration possible ❤️ (Source: https://lnkd.in/gJ5-3pDN

Over the past year, we have donated our samples to  local non-profit organisations Image Mission Ltd and Aidha , and circular fashion enterprise Cloop to extend the life cycle of our apparel and empower the women in the communities we exist in. Our partnership with Image Mission was particularly inspiring. Through the Dress for Success programme, our donation of over 200 Love, Bonito pieces equipped approximately 50 job-ready clients with professional workwear and confidence to conquer their next interviews. We strongly believe that every individual deserves a chance to shine bright and forge their own path to independence. #womenempowerment

Thank you Babes Pregnancy Crisis Support Ltd for joining us in a Career Exploration session with our teams Resa Lee (People & Culture Manager), Felicia Ng (Senior Specialist, Retail Training), Erna Kuzirah (Visual Merchandising Executive) and Dominique Wong (Junior Stylist)! We’re proud to walk the talk of women empowerment by introducing these young mums to the various roles in the fashion retail landscape. While the mummies are listening to these sessions, we’ve arranged for childminding and provided a play area for toddlers to hang out ❤️

As part of Babes Pregnancy Crisis Support Ltd commitment to supporting women beyond pregnancy, We are grateful to partner with Love, Bonito to share their insights on opportunities within the fashion retail industry with our service users. This partnership aims to empower young mothers by introducing them to various career paths and roles in fashion retail, offering them a chance to build new skills and pursue rewarding careers. The session was enriching and engaging for everyone involved, including the children who enjoyed their time with our volunteer childminders. #WomenEmpowerment #BeyondPregnancy #CareerDevelopment #SupportingMother

Wishing everyone a Happy Mother’s Day! ❤️ 🐾

🇵🇭 This Q3, we’re opening our first-ever brick and mortar store at Greenbelt 3, Makati, which lies in the heart of Metro Manila. This has been a long time coming, given that we’ve been shipping to our Filipina customers via our e-commerce site since 2019. Over the last 5 years, we’ve launched a series of pop-ups, forged close partnerships and took steps to better understand our local community from style preference to favourite shopping spaces. We can’t wait to welcome you to our new space so stay tuned for more updates 🥳 #internationalexpansion
