Annecy 2024 has come to an end, and what an incredible experience it was! This year marks a significant anime-focused year at Annecy, with the unveiling of the new Lord of the Rings anime by Kenji Kamiyama and Totto-Chan: The Little Girl at the Window, directed by Japan's Shinnosuke Yakuwa, receiving The Paul Grimault Award. Kasagi Labo is proud to be a part of this industry-wide movement to bring anime to more audiences. We were deeply moved by the full house audience during the Kasagi Labo presentation on how we are going to allow more creators and anime studios to create original anime through IP development, fan engagement and investment. Your support and enthusiasm inspire us! It has inspired our special guest and anime legend Masao Maruyama as well! Recently, secured a Series A funding round of USD 7.8 million.
