Different POV: This is frustrating for those who still think AI is a scam. Again, this is my point of view and you don't have to agree. Have you heard of the theory of 1% growth or decline? The theory behind multiplying by 1.01 and 0.99 every day for a year demonstrates the power of incremental growth versus decline: 1. 1.01*365: This represents improving by 1% every day. Over a year, this exponential growth leads to a substantial increase, making you up to 37 times better. 2. 0.99*365: This represents declining by 1% every day. Over a year, this exponential decay leads to a significant decrease, leaving you at just 3% of where you started. The same applies here until we achieve AGI. It's very simple. AI needs human supervision at this point, but with incremental increases in AI capabilities, it will eventually surpass human capabilities and innovate independently. So if you don't supervise it will become stupid. simple. As an AI scientist, I have seen many use cases where AI supervises its own learning and consistently delivers better results. It's about how you manage the model. Some people think human data is the limitation before AI reaches AGI, but that's a big myth. Happy to hear your thoughts.

"Path to Success" looks messy, but we are moving forward. Entrepreneurship is a messy journey, and only people willing to go through the suffering and keep their sight on the end goal will be successful. People think HeHealth is doing so well, but they might not see the sleepless nights, misguided people trying to destroy our work, episodes of crying, multiple points of almost giving up, and 16-plus-hour daily work almost without any off days for four years. But most importantly, I feel we are getting better and better every day, hitting milestones along the way. I think I already have enough stories; one day, I'll write a book, haha. SearchWHAT ?? Meta only had the spotlight for one day, as SearchGPT, a direct competition to Google and Perplexity, is out. OpenAI's timing on this is very interesting for sure. As I said yesterday, most of the products will be features in larger apps in the near future. Clearly, search is going to be a feature in our AI assistant but not a standalone product like Google or Perplexity. It's about access to consumers and how the bigger ecosystem is connected to users' daily lives already. A simple example is how Microsoft Teams is killing Zoom with their access to the business world. It's an exciting time to live, but at the same time, it is very hard to innovate as big players will kill you very soon. What do you think? Meta is killing it; they are by far the leading player bringing AI to more people's hands and clearly the winner in the open-source game. This is massive. We all thought OpenAI made the biggest revolution with ChatGPT, but I feel that through Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp, Meta is bringing AI to the masses. When I talk to most of my non-technical friends, they experience AI through Meta AI. In technical circles, most are excited about the LLaMA models because we can experiment with them, and they are open source. I feel at this point Meta is the clear winner in the AI game overall. Part 1, Why can't Singapore lead healthcare innovations compared to the USA? Why do we always have to follow the USA's guidance? I was delivering a lecture at National University of Singapore, and someone in the audience asked me these two questions. I always believe that we have "innovated" very well at a population level, to the point where we have one of the best life expectancies in the world. Yet, we are still forced to follow a system that is clearly not doing as well. I think we Singaporeans have done an amazing job bringing the country to this point but are somewhat afraid to lead on the global stage because we think the "West" is always better. If you look at the "West," most of the leading work is done by Asians, and those Asians had to go to the West to get recognition. I think it's time we own our success and start leading initiatives ourselves. It's a complicated process, but I believe we can do it. What do you think?
