Since 2007, Cold Storage and Giant have been proud to host the annual Kids Run event, fostering family togetherness and connecting with our amazing customers. We were thrilled to see the event return bigger and better than ever, welcoming thousands of participants and hundreds of dogs with families.   This year in Singapore, Sentosa buzzed with energy as thousands gathered for a day of fitness and fun. We have introduced the Woof-berry Run, a new category that delighted our furry friends and their owners. From the human claw machine to magic and puppet shows, paw-printing certifications, and delectable treats for both kids and fur kids, the event was a whirlwind of adventure and joy for all.   Every participant, whether racing competitively or taking a leisure run, enjoyed the thrill of crossing the finish line. The Woof-berry costume showcase stole the spotlight, with our furry friends strutting in adorable outfits. We are pleased to announce the launch of our DFI Sustainability Report 2023, showcasing our substantial commitment and achievements in promoting sustainability in three strategic pillars: Sustaining The Planet, Sourcing Responsibly, and Serving Communities. Thanks to the dedication of our team members and business partners, we are driving positive change and achieving significant progress on our sustainability journey.   In 2023, we proudly became one of the first Asian retailers to receive validation from the Science Based Targets initiative for our Scope 1, 2, and 3 near-term greenhouse gas emissions reduction targets. Our Morningstar Sustainalytics ESG Risk Rating improved to 22.9, placing us in the top 29% of the global food retail sub-industry rankings. Our waste diversion rate reached 54%, and we are intensifying our efforts to continue increasing it to 80% by 2023. Additionally, we made strides in making the plastic packaging of our selected Own Brand products more eco-friendly, with 57% already recyclable and a target to reach 100% by 2030.   We also prioritise community engagement by volunteering and fundraising through our community programmes while fostering a safe and inclusive environment for our people and customers. Collectively, we contributed over 1,129 volunteering hours in Hong Kong and donated more than US$3.7M across our operating markets. We also remain vigilant in ensuring gender pay equity within our organisation. Furthermore, we are dedicated to enhancing governance to provide customers with safe, high-quality and ethically responsible products. Our compliance, privacy and cybersecurity measures are in place to protect the interests of our team members, customers and stakeholders.   Moving forward, we are committed to reducing our carbon footprint and working towards achieving net zero. Grand Opening of CS Fresh at Chancery Court! We are proud to announce the grand opening and return of CS Fresh at Chancery Court. With over 18 years of experience operating in the area, CS Fresh is back with a fresh promise to be a cut above the rest, serving exceptional fresh food and experience at the store.     This will also be the very first CS Fresh in Singapore to feature Tanamera Coffee - an award-winning Indonesian specialty coffee roaster - within the supermarket, providing an even better shopping experience as customers can now get their caffeine fix while grocery shopping.    We have also built the store with sustainability in mind, minimising our environmental footprint where we can. CS Fresh at Chancery Court is one of the few supermarkets in Singapore using a closed waterloop system. It guarantees energy efficiency and reduces leakage risks.
