We're thrilled to share that AWAK was a part of this year's World Congress of Nephrology (WCN 2024) in Buenos Aires last week, where we showcased our latest offerings in kidney care. At the conference, we presented two groundbreaking posters: 1. AI based Prediction Models to assess progression of kidney disease, to aid with timely and personalized treatment planning. 2. Remote Patient Monitoring Tool for CKD and PD patients, to improve treatment adherence and enhance patient outcomes. Our AI Technologist, Ricardo Aguilar, presented these posters while engaging in meaningful conversations with fellow attendees. Amidst the commencement of the pre-pivotal study of AWAK PD and the successful securing of Series B funding of 20-plus million, we're excited to unveil a couple of other remarkable updates shaping our exciting journey forward!   Our team has received our second US FDA breakthrough Designation for AI engines that we developed in collaboration with EFAI, Taiwan. Moreover, it's important to highlight that, in the past, our ultraportable/wearable device, AWAK PD, has also received a breakthrough designation. This underlines the tremendous strides we're making in the kidney disease landscape.   These AI engines possess the potential to predict kidney disease progression and forecast the initiation of crucial renal replacement therapy—be it dialysis or transplant. Once commercialized and integrated into care management, AI engines can revolutionize patient care by offering early insights, enabling smoother transitions to home dialysis through adequate training and clinical preparation. We will continue to have these engines validated in the US and other places, including but not limited to Singapore General Hospital.   Kudos to our exceptional team from AWAK’s side, led by Priyanka Arya, and EFAI’s side, led by Joseph C. Kuo, for this feat!   Additionally, in our pursuit of expanding our ground presence in the US, the largest and most significant market in the world, we're delighted to announce the relocation of Mandar Gori, our Chief Business Officer, to the US.
