AcePLP Career Day was an enriching experience!   We extend our sincere thanks to everyone who participated in our Career Day. Close to 140 graduates of the Built Environment registered to join us, and we hosted graduates from Singapore Polytechnic, Temasek Polytechnic, Republic Polytechnic, Ngee Ann Polytechnic, Nanyang Polytechnic, PSB Academy, BCA Academy and representatives from ITE College East. Another year celebrating the success of our Work-Study Programme (WSP) participants and partnerships with the industry🌟 We were pleased to host Dr Mohamad Maliki Bin Osman at our booths yesterday with our Deputy Principal Georgina Phua and our industry partner, McDonald's Singapore. It gave us the opportunity to share more on SP’s WSPs and the benefits to fresh ITE and Polytechnic graduates who earn and learn at the same time. Huge thanks to ST Engineering, Schneider Electric and AcePLP PTE Ltd for joining us at the event too! In his speech, Dr Maliki announced SP’s 2 new WSPs in Interior Design and Data Engineering. He also presented Employer Appreciation Awards to Nestle and AcePLP for their continuous commitment to support fresh graduates through WSPs. To empower Singaporean graduates in their transition to the workforce, the Polytechnics has launched 10 new Work-Study Programmes, offering courses in the emerging economies. This initiative presents additional avenues for students to develop skills in high-growth industries, thereby expanding their career prospects. To date, more than 13,000 students have participated in Work-Study Programmes, and over 3,000 companies have come onboard as partner companies. In recognition of the companies that have demonstrated support for the Work-Study Programmes, Second Minister for Education, Dr. Mohamad Maliki Bin Osman, presented appreciation awards to 12 companies selected by the Post-Secondary Education Institutes based on positive feedback from their involvement.
