To empower Singaporean graduates in their transition to the workforce, the Polytechnics has launched 10 new Work-Study Programmes, offering courses in the emerging economies. This initiative presents additional avenues for students to develop skills in high-growth industries, thereby expanding their career prospects. To date, more than 13,000 students have participated in Work-Study Programmes, and over 3,000 companies have come onboard as partner companies. In recognition of the companies that have demonstrated support for the Work-Study Programmes, Second Minister for Education, Dr. Mohamad Maliki Bin Osman, presented appreciation awards to 12 companies selected by the Post-Secondary Education Institutes based on positive feedback from their involvement.
