As intra/entrepreneur, I have always been fascinated by the power of transformative visions and ideas. But, learnt that without a burning desire, strong will and willingness to act ideas and visions remains intangible things.

Over the past 14 years, I started up Pampas Deli a new business in the domain of Food & Drinks. Then, my passion as Intrapreneur took me to setting up the vision, strategy and plans to create new business initiatives within existing leading brands across a wide array of industries ranging from Telcom and IT, Sony Mobile Communications, to retail IKEA cooking & eating and leading chocolate brand Barry Callebaut.

My passion for customer-centric business development underpinned by sustainability, technology, innovation and entrepreneurship takes me to strategize new business models able to deliver unique benefit to people, planet and profit. It is all about sustainable development and value creation!

How I do it?
- First, Visioning and sense-making,of the world. A vision drives the why, the purpose of my work that accompanied by a unique innovation capability, I can take ideas from ideation to commercial solution roll-out. I have proven experience in design thinking and solution validation methodology desirability, feasibility and viability.
- Then, I tap into my energy, strong customer-centricity and unique business acumen to transform business digitally and sustainably. I often rethink business models by using unique tools e.g. business model canvas.
- Infinite mindset and entrepreneurial spirit to break down silos, rock business as usual and identify undeserved needs to exploit them for unlocking new customer and business value.
- Strong engagement and commitment to deliver and achieve results.
- Unique communication and relationship building skills.
- Analytical skills enable me to transform data into key insights and use them as fact-based input to develop value-creation products, services and business models.
- Creative problem-solving, strong willpower, determination and passion.
- Catalyst to eliminate reactance, endowment, distance and uncertainty. Serving and empowering trough active listening and building trust.

The master thesis my partner and I wrote sought to create value in the field of business modelling and innovation with a focus on sustainability. Thus, the thesis focused on sustainability-centred business model innovation with a niche focus on the coffee industry. A multiple case study based on qualitative secondary data was selected for analysing and understanding how sustainability affected the business models of two leading multinational firms within the coffee industry: Nespresso & Starbucks.

    As a human being, I have a fundamental moral obligation which is to promote and foster entrepreneurship as a key world changing tool. Consequently, I do support Hungerprojektet´s unique "Vision, commitment and action" model set to transform people lives all around the globe. Their model does not seek to ease the effects of poverty, a man made problem, but to eradicate it completely. Finally, I strive for taking this model to South America and tackle poverty and hunger once for all!

    Purpose: To investigate, analyse and comprehend how sustainability has affected the business models of Nespresso and Starbucks and the extent to which the selected firms have incorporated the triple bottom line approach into their core business.
    Methodology: The research is a qualitative study in which secondary archival data is collected with respect to the selected industry and firms. It follows a multiple case-study approach where data is analysed by using pattern-matching.
    Theoretical perspectives: This study focuses on Osterwalder and Pigneur’s Business Model Canvas, Joyce and Paquin’s Triple Layer Business Model Canvas framework and Morelli’s triple bottom line approach.
    Empirical Foundation: The case study of Starbucks and Nespresso in the coffee industry.
    Conclusion: The research arrives to the conclusion that as ambitious the sustainability programs of the selected firms may be, they are not radical enough for tackling the sustainability challenge of the 21st century. The business models of the firms are today more sustainability-centred than before. However, they present a number of interdependent weaknesses that if not tackled, they will result in increasingly high costs for both society and environment. We strongly argue that harnessing sustainability-centred business model innovation cannot be done incrementally. Moreover, to achieve sustainable value firms in the coffee industry should reduce material consumption and pollution. They should operate at a high level of transparency aiding civil society. Then, they need to develop new disruptive technology with the potential of shrinking footprint, a step that also aids the environment. Lastly, they need to meet the needs of those at the bottom of the economic pyramid in ways that enable inclusive wealth creation and distribution.
