Uncut has been tasked, together with SVT's internal team, to lead the strategic direction for Eurovision as well as the moving visual identity. Uncut and SVT, in turn, have built a unique, creative team for the project, where Sidney Lim from Bold Stockholm, among others, takes on the role as the designer. By combining the northern lights and the harmonic rhythm of equalizers, we have created a visual system called "The Eurovision Light." The concept is based on simple linear gradients inspired by the vertical lines that characterize both the northern lights and equalizers. It has been designed to be a versatile identity that can be adapted to different needs and devices. Using simple gradients as the fundamental building blocks of our visual identity not only creates aesthetically appealing graphics but also allows for adjustments to both larger and smaller devices.
