The patent describes a technology that uses machine learning to precisely control an exoskeleton according to the user's intentions. "We are very happy about the announcement from the USPTO. It clarifies our level of innovation and confirms the unique capacity of our technology as well as strengthens our position in the American market", comments CEO Sofie Woge. June has been an exciting and successful month for Tendo! Here are some highlights:   - Agreement with Sunnaas Rehabilitation Hospital: We are pleased to announce that we have signed an agreement with Sunnaas Rehabilitation Hospital in Norway to conduct a clinical study of Tendo OneGrip. The purpose of this study is to create more clinical evidence for the upcoming CE marking of OneGrip. We have received approval from the Norwegian Medicines Agency (NOMA) and are now awaiting feedback from the ethical committee, which is expected in July 2024.    - User meetings: The team visited multiple medical centres and met with patients - some of whom are now using the OneGrip device.    - User Event in Karlstad: Tendo hosted an inspiring user event and demo together with Rullarnas Personliga Assistans AB in Karlstad. Before you set off to relax on your summer vacation, we would like to share with you our user meeting and information session schedule for early autumn! The first information session will take place at Neuro Stockholm on the 19th September, we will then hold another session at Neuro Blekinge in Karlskrona on 30th September. Following this, we will be presenting at Neuro Värmland in Karlskoga on 2nd October, and finally you can meet us at Spinalutvecklingsträff Region Gävleborg / GRG Parasport Gävleborg in Sandviken on 14th October. The purpose of the clinical study is to create more clinical evidence about Tendo OneGrip ahead of the upcoming CE marking. Tendo has received approval from the Norwegian Medicines Agency NOMA and is awaiting feedback from the ethics committee in Norway. A month has passed since OTWorld in Leipzig where Tendo exhibited the OneGrip to industry visitors from all over the world. 𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐡𝐥𝐲 𝐮𝐩𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐞 - 𝐌𝐚𝐲 Dear Reader, May has been an eventful month for us at Tendo and we are happy to share with you all the exciting news and progress!   Distribution agreement with Ortopro AS We have entered into a distribution agreement with Ortopro AS to market Tendo OneGrip in Norway. This agreement follows the letter of intent signed in April 2024 and marks an important step in our expansion on the Nordic market. We look forward to offering our innovative solutions to more users in Norway. Throughout this spring, we have also participated in multiple trade fairs to present and demonstrate our innovative product, Tendo OneGrip®.   OT World in Leipzig We exhibited at OT World, the largest international trade fair for orthopedic treatment and care, which took place in Leipzig, Germany between 14-17 May. It was a great opportunity to network with industry leaders and present our latest innovations to a global audience. Thank you to everyone who visited our stand and showed interest in Tendo OneGrip!   Hjultorget in Stockholm On 15-16 May we attended Hjultorget, a renowned assistive technology fair in Stockholm. It was a pleasure to meet assistive technology users, their families and professionals in the field. We appreciate all the fruitful conversations and the positive feedback we received on our solutions. Focus on Assistive Technology in Malmö We ended the month with our participation at Fokus Hjälpmedel in Malmö. This forum gave us another opportunity to discuss our solutions and exchange knowledge with other experts in the assistive technology sector.
