Greetings from a fantastic summer resort… More specifically, from the buzzing biodiversity-promoting insect hotels at Syntronic’s headquarters! These Air Bee ‘n Bees were constructed by our team this spring, as an initiative to promote ecological balance. Now, as we found ourselves in the middle of the holiday season, we are pleased to see that many tiny tourists have checked in! Providing sheltered safe havens for beneficial insects is a concrete and hands-on way to contribute to a sustainable mindset on a practical level. At Syntronic, we remain committed to the transformation towards a greener future, on all possible levels. The green transition is a commitment that requires both strategic and operational measures. In our engineering operations, we apply a Design for Environment (DfE) approach. DfE is a sustainability-promoting way of working aimed at reducing the overall environmental and health impact of a product, process or service. As DfE practitioners, we take the health and sustainability impacts into consideration every step of the way throughout the entire end-to-end journey. At Syntronic, we take pride in our strong sense of community and the team spirit that thrives across our various offices. One shining example of this is the Syntronic Hiking Club in Ottawa. The club is a social committee initiative aimed at providing a forum for nature-loving colleagues who want to connect, explore, and make memories together. Spending time in the great outdoors together also serves as a reminder of how important it is to incorporate sustainability is all that we do. At Syntronic, we believe in the transformative power of innovation-driven technological development as a strategy for preserving, protecting, and safeguarding our natural environments for future generations. Our hiking club is led by Syed Rizvi (MSc,MGM,CID) one of our talented PCB designers who combines his passion for technology with a love for wilderness exploration. Among the nature spots that the Syntronic Hiking Club has visited so far is that breathtaking Eagles Nest lookout in Calabogie, Ontario. As the pictures show, the hike was a fantastic opportunity to explore the beautiful province where our first office in Canada was established more than a decade ago. We are proud of our Canadian team and of all that we have achieved together in North America and internationally. The United Nations General Assembly has declared today, 15 July as World Youth Skills Day. The purpose is to shine a light on the importance of empowering young people with skills that allow them to create their own futures through employment, work and entrepreneurship. Here at Syntronic, we join the global community in marking this important occasion. Today and every day, we are passionate about supporting the next generation of innovators through our strong industry-academia partnerships. An example of our commitment to helping young people is our active participation in the Technical College programme in Sweden (Teknikcollege). Through this collaboration, we host technical workshops for high school students at our headquarters multiple times a year. In our workshops, the students build and programme their own robots alongside our engineers, who are also happy to answer technical and career-related questions. The students also get to explore our state-of-the-art lab facilities and learn about some of the equipment that we use. Our initiatives also extend to our collaboration with LiU Formula Student at Link��ping University. Each year, the LiU team designs and builds a competition vehicle. Syntronic supports the driverless team, for instance through guiding them in setting up a simulation environment. We also offer the students consultant sessions with our engineers, to support them in their learning and skills building processes. Through being present for the next generation of game-changers, we hope to contribute to the construction of a sustainable future for all. We're excited to share the news of a big leap forward! Syntronic is opening a a new permanent site in Timisoara, Romania! The new entity named Syntronic Production and Aftermarket Services S.R.L. will be located in Timisoara, a city recognized for its efficient manufacturing infrastructure and highly skilled workforce. “With our new site in Romania, we are ready to serve customers seeking efficient and cost-effective electronics manufacturing and repair services in the EMEA region,” says Björn Jansson, Founder and CEO of Syntronic Group. "Our expansion into Romania reflects our commitment to providing solutions to our international clientele in accordance with our ‘local presence, global expertise’ approach,” he adds. The expansion is in line with Syntronic's strategy to delivering cost-effective electronics production and repair solutions to both new and existing customers. New month, new milestones! Syntronic has successfully manufactured and delivered an advanced ODM solution to a leading computer radiator firm with a prominent position on the market. The end-to-end project was centred around developing and manufacturing specialized water-cooled computer radiator display equipment. The firm opted for making use of Syntronic’s comprehensive R&D and manufacturing services.
