Together with Bjerking, Castellum and Connect Sverige Region Uppsala, we gathered for this year's summer party. Starting the day with a health promoting activity, “Run for life”, we took on the challenge to run between Uppsalas three Science Parks. Thanks to Friskis och Svettis, Uppsala Science Park and Nordic Wellness Studenternas for making everything run smoothly. Following that, the summer party began at Bjerking's rooftop terrace, offering Uppsala's finest view. A perfect mix of exercise and festivities! Some highlights from the day: 🌟 Engaging and insightful conversations among guests, providing an opportunity to create new connections where Uppsala's life science community could meet and exchange thoughts and ideas. 🌟 Delicious food and drinks locally sourced from Ica Lindbacken, Uppsala Brygghus AB and DomCraft. 🌟 Music that elevated the mood and created a wonderful atmosphere among the guests, setting a great tone for the evening from ”Husbandet” Andreas Hemström and DJ Tim Florman. Healthcare has such incredible potential to harness the power of AI! However, not everyone knows that a lot is already being done - not least at Akademiska sjukhuset in #Uppsala, which was recently named the world's 54th smartest hospital by Newsweek. Therefore, we will be hosting an after-work event where OLLE BERGDAHL, Marianne van Rooijen, and Johan Sundström, along with colleagues, will share some examples of AI applications. At the same time, we are not satisfied - which is why we have also invited knowledgeable and inspiring individuals who can offer other perspectives on how we could achieve even more with #AI in healthcare - including Pia Hardy from #NVIDIA, Ebba Kraemer from #Scaleout, and Rebecka C.
