ESG100 partner announcement!💚 We're thrilled to have DLA Piper on board supporting our annual analysis of ESG reporting quality across Scandinavia and the EU. We had the pleasure of exchanging a few words with Hugo A. B. Munthe-Kaas, partner at DLA Piper Norway, in anticipation of the big launch. What motivated DLA Piper to support this year's ESG100 review? – Both EU and Norwegian business communities are experiencing a considerable increase in ESG regulation and reporting requirements. We're in a "maturing" phase, finding efficient and practical ways to comply with the new rules while ensuring the goals behind them are achieved. We believe that this work is best done collaboratively, sharing experiences and discussing best practices. ESG100 is an important contribution to such cooperation, which we fully support. What specific insights or findings are you most looking forward to? – It will be interesting to see how companies' reports have evolved and how they've aligned with CSRD requirements. We're also looking forward to seeing how nature and biodiversity risks are addressed in this year's reporting. Last year, analysed companies reported on 54% of the ESRS disclosures tested. Do you anticipate a change in this year's results? – Yes, we anticipate that this year's results will be higher, as more companies most likely will have aligned their reporting with the ESRS disclosure requirements under the CSRD.
