    We're thrilled to share that Nordic Capital has further advanced its climate agenda with the announcement that the Science Based Targets initiative has approved its greenhouse gas emissions (GHG) reduction targets, aligning with the 1.5°C pathway outlined in the Paris Agreement. Nordic Capital views decarbonisation as an important way to create value in the businesses it backs and, as a leading investor and business owner, is committed to fostering meaningful climate action, including an urgent transition to a low-carbon economy.     Nordic Capital has entered into an agreement to acquire a majority stake in Sensio, a leading provider of care technology. The investment aims to accelerate Sensio's growth and international expansion while continuing to enhance its technology platform and products. The investment is made in close partnership with the company’s management. Longship AS, the previous majority owner since 2018, will invest alongside Nordic Capital as a significant minority owner. "We are deeply impressed with the team at Sensio, the company, and the platform they've created over the past 10 years. Sensio’s combined solution of software and IoT devices can meaningfully reduce accidents and increase care quality, while freeing up significant resources and drive efficiencies within elderly care. Nordic Capital has strong sub-sector focus areas within healthcare technology and IoT, and is thrilled to offer, expertise, network and capital to fuel Sensio’s next growth phase”, said Erik Otto Nyborg.     Har vi lyckats driva kapitalet mot hållbara investeringar? Denna viktiga fråga diskuterades under vårt fjärde panelsamtal under Almedalsveckan med representanter från finansmarknaden Tomas Thyblad Nasdaq, Elin Ljung Nordic Capital, Tove Husell Finansinspektionen, Urban Funered Svensk Värdepappersmarknad, Emma Englén Spiltan Fonder, modererat av Jennifer Ljungquist, i samarbete med Spiltan Fonder. Representanter som attraherade en fullsatt salong.   Urban Funered framhöll hur kundefterfråga och marknaden driver behov av lagstiftning för hållbarhet.   Tomas Thyblad lyfter hur de senaste årens utveckling har möjliggjort standardisering, verktyg och datainsamling, vilket skapar förutsättningar för transitionsbolag.   Nyckelaspekten bakom framgångsrik hållbarhetsintegrering är att stödja affärsmodeller som möjliggör förändring och ställa krav på stora bolags omställning, enligt Elin Ljung.   Tove Husell betonade att rådgivare har ett stort ansvar att ge rätt kunskap, kompetens och tillsyn för att stödja regelverkens ändamål.   Emma Englén underströk vikten av transparent och pålitlig kommunikation och uttryckte att ”grönmålning är som att blåsa upp sin balansräkning”.
