Nefab Announces Opening of Malaysia's Most Comprehensive Semiconductor Packaging Facility in Penang.    This is Nefab's second facility in Penang, designed to meet the growing demand for sustainable and safe packaging solutions for semiconductor equipment in the region. The site is designed as a one-stop hub, boasting a comprehensive set of services under a single roof, including a cleanroom facility and an advanced engineering design center with an advanced ISTA-certified testing facility.    This strategic expansion signifies a leap forward in Nefab's commitment to revolutionizing the semiconductor equipment industry with innovative, safe, and environmentally conscious packaging solutions. The new 25,500-square-foot facility is anticipated to generate up to 50 new jobs, including opportunities for highly skilled engineers.     “This expansion in Malaysia not only highlights our strategic importance in the Asia-Pacific region but also demonstrates our deep understanding and commitment to the growing demands of the semiconductor industry in this area. On June 14th, the participants of the Nefab Global Trainee Program 2023-2024 celebrated their graduation at Nefab’s headquarters in Kista, Sweden together with Per Öhagen, President and CEO, Maria Brithon ♦️, EVP People & Culture and Anne Morawietz, Employer Branding Specialist (and Manager of the Global Trainee Program).   This year, the group of trainees consisted of eight young talents: Philipp Haug, Germany; Stefany Lopez Ramirez, Mexico; Shang Jee Chuah, Malaysia; Lily Monte, USA; Niels D., The Netherlands; Max Minor, USA; Andrii Artamonov, Poland; Jake Nimmo, Canada.    The Nefab Global Trainee Program is more than just a training program. Over the past ten months, our trainees have demonstrated not only technical skills and knowledge but also resilience, adaptability, and unwavering determination to learn and excel. They have worked on diverse assignments with colleagues from all around the globe. They went on an international assignment, a unique and invaluable opportunity that allowed them to gain global perspectives, experience diverse cultures, and navigate the complexities of working in a different environment. This experience has not only enriched their professional skills but has also broadened their horizons, making them more versatile and globally minded professionals.     Thank you to all managers, mentors and other colleagues for your guidance, support, and dedication!
