⚠️ Telematics companies, is your driving score up to scratch? ⚠️ Does it: ✳️ Identify the drivers most likely to crash (this is not necessarily the driver with the most “events”) ✳️ Provide reasoning to back up the score, so the driver’s manager knows what action to take and has context for those actions? ✳️ Enable benchmarking (for example, against other drivers in the company, across industries and at country level)? ✳️ Identify lowest risk drivers for recognition? With this type of information, fleet risk managers are better placed to understand risk across their whole fleet and at the driver level. What type of driving data do fleets need to fulfil the social requirements of CSRD reporting?💡 Under the EU’s Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD), companies are required to disclose social and environmental impacts in line with the European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS). Driver safety fits into the standards as part of the social disclosures, specifically ‘Own workforce’, ‘Workers in the value chain’, ‘Affected communities’ and ‘Consumers and end-users’. 🚗 Additionally, the EU’s Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive (CSDDD) requires large companies to identify, communicate AND act on activities that may result in adverse environmental and human rights impacts globally.
