Today, we’re in reflective mode as we take another look back at what our AI has achieved over the last 20 years. ⏪ 🕰️ We started with an aim to help haulage companies 🚚 reduce fuel consumption and costs… and discovered our AI predictions were scarily close to reality! Using the same technique, we started to look at crash probability and discovered we were able to identify and compare patterns in driving behavior to predict which drivers would be involved in a crash. 🚨 Today, we still use the same technology and the same principle of pattern recognition to help organizations globally reduce crashes AND reduce their impact on the planet. 🌍 While initially we obtained data through small hard-wired on-board computers, today our customers share their GPS data with us via smartphone app, SDK in an existing app or API from dashcam, connected car, telematics device, or other system. 📊 Our database contains over 7 billion driving patterns, compiled with data from 106 countries and 1,600 cities. ✨ What a journey so far! 💚 #GreaterThanAI20 #AI #dataanalytics #technology #mobility

Fantastic to see our customer Fuse Fleet use our AI technology to launch an ESG reporting solution for Australian fleets. 🚗 Amazing timing as the country is set to begin mandatory climate reporting in 2025! 🍃 Fuse Fleet was launched by DKG Insurance Group in April 2023 as a result of a partnership with Greater Than, with the aim of providing a behavior-based insurance solution that rewards safe driving and support lower premiums. The partnership has now expanded to include sustainability and ESG reporting, reflecting the evolving needs of fleet operators. “Demand for ESG transparency, action and reporting is in higher demand than ever and it’s critical for fleets to access reliable driver safety and sustainability data,” said Simon Donovan, Executive General Manager, Commercial, at Fuse Fleet. “We’re proud to be the first in the Australian insurance industry to deliver a seamless ESG solution for fleets, making it easier to track and report on ESG impact from a mobility perspective.” Recognizing that not all fleets have telematics solutions, Fuse Fleet offers a free app that enables its customers to access driver safety insights for risk mitigation and accurate insurance pricing. As we celebrate our AI’s 20-year anniversary 🎂 , we are shining a light on our Climate Impact Score which helps drivers reduce their CO2 emissions by up to 28!% 🚗 💭 Having started life as a solution for truck operators to save on fuel consumption and costs, little did we know then just how important it would be today for ALL organizations to be able to access data to quantify, mitigate and report on their climate impact. 📊 Today, with ESG reporting regulations making it mandatory for many companies to report on their ESG activities, our Climate Impact Score makes it easy to: 🌍 Measure the driver influence on climate impact 🌍 Calculate absolute and avoided emissions (% and grams) 🌍 Fulfil the mobility requirements of ESG reporting 🌍 Reduce climate impact and fuel consumption 🌍 Identify drivers for targeted eco-training We’re proud that our technology – a global scoring standard – is used by the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA) in its FIA Smart Driving Challenge (FIA SDC). During the 2023 Season drivers from 79 countries competed in the Challenge. On average, they saw a 13% reduction in battery usage or CO2 emissions compared to the average driver. This increased to 18% during the playoffs and 28% during the final.
