⭐JEC 2024 SUCCESS! ⭐ Thank you for a fantastic JEC 2024! Let’s take some time to reflect. It is clear that the composite industry needs to focus more on sustainability the following years. Tougher legislation and customer demands will accelerate the transition. It was great to see the passion at JEC, companies are ready for the challenges ahead! The sustainability focus in the composite industry will mainly be: 1. Transition to thermoplastic resins to improve recyclability of produced parts. 2. Reduce energy consumption by the transition to new, more efficient processes. 3. Replace existing materials such as metal and plastic in more applications to reduce weight, especially in the transport sector. The Corebon booth was EXPLODING with visitors, with good reasons: 1. With state-of-the-art induction heating equipment, Corebon Technology solves many challenges in thermoplastic composite processing. 💸💸💸 Why do investors invest in our bex platform business model? What's important for us when looking at investors? Of course, the team behind and the execution of the idea is often more critical to investors than the idea itself. But for us as founders and for all other bextronauts, it is significant to build something we can be really passionate about. So that's why for us, it starts with an idea that enables us to build a sustainable business for the long run. The construction industry is an inefficient one. Usually, I have to be careful with general statements, but this is true to its core. McKinsey finds in a study that productivity gains in the construction industry are far behind the overall industry average annually productivity gains. We're still building and renovating stuff we did 20, 30 or even 40 years ago. The same goes for #construction #logistics: If you are a construction supply company, you might be using your own fleet of vehicles or a third party as if it was your own fleet. You are adding capacities for spot deliveries, taking them from the regional, fragmented and non-digital SMB trucking market by calling them up on the phone or via email. Topping this up typically with a hardly or not at all digitized management process. This leads to friction, inefficiencies, insustainability, increased costs and many, many missed opportunities. That's where we come in. As a player of player in the market, we take on the problem of the lack of efficient access to flexible, optimized transport options by offering exactly those. To push on growth for solving this issue, we partnered with rock star investors like East Hill Equity - Managing Scania Growth Capital, an entrepreneurial German Single Family Office or super experienced entrepreneurs like Peter Förster. What they see in us, I believe, is the chance to dominate an entire industry, delivering value-add to both sides of our platform (customers and carriers) and therefor earning honest, great margins as the orchestrator in the middle: the player of players. What we seek in investors is their ability to understand #supplychaintech, #logtech and #constructiontech - and their commitment beyond capital to grow with us. A company like ours is definitely walking off the beaten path, in one of those niche industries that are worth several billion Dollars. That's why we like investors that really have the ability to understand our business deeply and not only have a superficial interest.
