At the recent iVT Expo in Chicago we showed the latest prototype of our vehicle computer and separated monitors. This approach enables reduction of the number of devices required in a vehicle, monitors can be made slimmer to achieve a modern cab interior design and cabling harnesses and installation is simplified. Separating computing and TFT technology is also favourable from a life cycle perspective, allowing both to be upgraded independently.
