Om oss

With a vogue fascination of anatomy, Cornelia Webb explores the landscape of our bodies with a Scandinavian sense of aesthetic. Balancing between art, fashion and medicine she creates jewellery with the wearers physical and emotional well-being in mind. Cornelia emphasizes on craftsmanship, timelessness and environmental consciousness. Choosing to reinvent objects rather than just produce new ones, she carves out a new definition of sustainable luxury, refined modern craft. Cornelia Webb’s on-going enviro-conscious concept embraces recycled metals and materials that is one with the earth.

"We want to question what luxury is perceived as today. It’s the first chapter of a bigger shift that we are doing outside of the industry-set calendar. We have developed an exquisite range of rings to hold something very special — the world’s first carbon-negative diamond with a positive impact on the planet. It’s the world’s first B-corp certified diamond and we act as a facilitator and channel by introducing it to the Swedish market. It’s time to rewrite the values of a diamond to fit a more ethical and modern world." /Cornelia Webb Please question yourself; What is luxury in modern times?

Cornelia Webb introduces the world's first carbon-negative diamonds with a positive climate impact. Cornelia Webb brings groundbreaking innovation in the form of climate-positive diamonds to the Swedish market. These diamonds are created using carbon capture technology, where the diamonds are produced from carbon dioxide extracted from the atmosphere instead of fossil fuels. This represents a significant milestone for the jewelry industry and sets a new standard for social and environmental impact within the sector. The traditional diamond industry has long had a significant negative impact on the environment and social sustainability, with a carbon footprint of over 16 million tons of CO2 per year. The demand for more sustainable alternatives has increased significantly in recent years, leading to the explosion of the lab-grown diamond market, valued at 14.9 billion USD in 2022. However, lab-grown diamonds have not been a good climate choice as they have used substantial amounts of fossil fuels in their production. Through a partnership with the American company Aether, the world's first and only B-corp certified diamond supplier, Cornelia Webb Jewelry has incorporated sustainable diamonds into its range. Aether produces its diamonds by capturing carbon dioxide from the atmosphere. The entire production process is powered by 100% renewable energy, and traceability and transparency are fundamental principles of the company. The carbon dioxide used for the diamonds now available has been captured in the Swiss Alps. "We are very proud to offer our customers climate-positive diamonds from Aether," says Cornelia Webb. "It's a significant step towards a more sustainable jewelry industry, and we hope this initiative inspires others to move towards more responsible production and consumption of jewelry." With this initiative, 12 new models of engagement and wedding rings are also being launched due to high interest and increased sales in Cornelia Webb's Made-to-order segment over the previous year. From November 1, 2023, Aether's diamonds will be offered in Cornelia Webb's entire Made-to-order collection of engagement rings. The price range is between 8,000 to 75,000 SEK, and the rings are exclusively sold at Cornelia Webb's studio in Stockholm, Sweden and online at corneliawebb.com Cornelia Webb [email protected]
