Axel Berntsson new President and CEO of Bulten Group We are happy to announce that Axel Berntsson, currently President and CEO of Absolent Air Care Group (publ), will take on the role as President and CEO of Bulten Group. “Axel Berntsson has solid experience from several global industrial companies and has great experience of change management, as well as of creating long-term shareholder value. With his background and leadership, I am convinced that he will successfully develop the company in new customer segments and markets,“ says Ulf Liljedahl, Chairman of the Bulten Board.

We are happy to share that we have signed an agreement with the Dutch wire rod manufacturer FNsteel bv, one of the important steps we are taking to further reduce our carbon footprint. 🤝 The agreement gives us access to the most circular steel on the market for our own fastener production, enabling us to offer our customers a greener product option based on material with less than 300 kg carbon dioxide per ton of steel, a milestone on the way to carbon neutrality.🌟 “The partnership with FNsteel bv is an important step toward achieving our vision to create the most innovative and sustainable fastener solutions. We have long worked with scrap-based steel when manufacturing our products, but with this new steel we can provide customers with an even more circular alternative. We're proud to announce the successful installation of TensionCam M45 nuts on the Älvsborg Bridge in Gothenburg, Sweden. The innovative TensionCam solution enables precise measurement and monitoring of bolt clamp loads, improving safety and stability for thousands of daily commuters.   This project, in partnership with the Swedish Transport Administration and Alticlimb, is part of our ongoing efforts to improve infrastructure reliability. This week, we thank Yrla Bengtsson, our intern in Bulten's Technology & Innovation department, for her valuable contributions over the past four months. Yrla joined us through the "Tekniksprånget" program ("Technological Leap"), a collaboration between Swedish companies and the government to inspire young people to pursue careers in engineering. "This was a fantastic opportunity for me to try out the work of an engineer and decide on my future studies. It was interesting and challenging, and I deepened my knowledge of materials used in fastener production. I was also challenged to solve different problems using additive manufacturing and I have independently solved issues in the workplace using CAD and 3D-printers," says Yrla.   Yrla's achievements include creating a comprehensive book on the microstructures of materials used in Bulten's European production. She also transformed an old Bulten sign into the one that now hangs at Bulten’s headquarters in Gothenburg.
