Please join us in welcoming Anders Källberg to the ANYO Labs team 🙌 We're thrilled to announce that Anders, a passionate and ambitious graduate in Biotechnology from Chalmers University of Technology, has joined us!   Anders hits the ground running at ANYO Labs with a diverse skillset perfectly suited to our mission. His experience in machine learning will be instrumental in developing new computational tools and models. Anders possesses deep scientific knowledge base in molecular biology and chemistry which he will leverage to create chemically informed models.   Furthermore, his experience in the lab with advanced techniques and data analysis in combination with his AI interest will be invaluable as we push the boundaries of drug discovery. We're excited to see what Anders will accomplish at ANYO Labs and are happy to have you onboard! 🚀

We at ANYO Labs closely following the exciting developments in AI-powered drug discovery. The recent study https://lnkd.in/dV2m6iTd sheds light on the potential and challenges of this approach. The study found that AI-discovered molecules have a significantly higher success rate in Phase I trials compared to historical averages.   This is encouraging news, suggesting AI's ability to identify promising drug candidates specifically in hit and lead selection and not as of yet for target identification, even in these very early cases! Costs of development are not touched upon either, which in itself carries immense value for the industry.   AI has the potential to revolutionize the field, and we're excited to see how it continues to evolve, and are filled with optimism with such news.   #AI #DrugDiscovery #FutureofHealthcare

ANYO Labs Secures 1.46 Million Vinnova Grant to Accelerate Drug Discovery We're excited to announce receiving a nearly SEK 1.5 million grant from Vinnova, Sweden's innovation agency! This grant recognizes the potential of our drug discovery platform. The grant will co-fund the development of our de novo compound generation capabilities and help aid in: 🏃♀️Speeding Up Drug Discovery: Further validating our speeds in reaching milestones in vitro and in vivo models, to streamline the process from concept to pre-clinical development.  🔬Enhancing Efficiency: Generate novel and diverse compounds with targeted properties, maximizing the potential for finding lead-like hits as well as validate some of the current generative AI bottlenecks in drug discovery (selectivity, synthesizability, activity). 👨🔬 Fuelling Internal Projects: Validate our ability to develop new drugs more efficiently, paving the way for the possibility of an accelerated internal pipeline for producing lead-like hits.
