On the other, some appreciate long assessments can frustrate candidates, especially those applying for multiple jobs and need to re-take the same test multiple times. The industry needs to evolve, and I agree! And the question may not be as far-fetched as it first seems. Today, over 40 TA and HR professionals gathered for an engaging lunch session to discuss how to optimise for better alignment and efficiency with hiring managers.     How can we optimise for better alignment and efficiency between recruiters and hiring managers? That was the topic for today’s networking lunch, where over 70 TA and HR professionals joined us at Alva Labs HQ in Stockholm for an engaging session. As a recruiter, you need to balance compliance, candidate experience, accuracy and efficiency across multiple processes. On the other hand, hiring managers may not have the same expertise and only need to focus on accuracy – which can cause friction. So, how do we solve this issue? 🌟 Clearly align with your company’s goals and help the hiring manager understand the reasons behind the process 🌟 Before you start: align with hiring managers so it’s clear what we’re looking for, on what criteria we assess candidates and who does what  🌟 Reduce friction by making it easy for the hiring manager to stick to the process, maybe by providing an interview template or scheduling interviews for them 🌟 Enable communication between TA and Hiring Managers with regular check-ins and designated communication channels 🌟 Share hiring results with the hiring manager to continuously improve the hiring process Thank you all for joining us today!
